洞の水場に行ってきました。
「洞の水場」
山中湖の近くに通称『洞の水場』と呼ばれる泉があり
四季を通じて、色々な鳥たちが、水浴びや水を飲むために
この水場にやって来ます。
いろんな野鳥を撮りたくて多くのカメラマンが集まります。
シジュウカラ
全長15cmほどで、ほぼスズメと同じくらい。
70円切手のデザインのモデルになってもいます。
首から腹にかけてのネクタイのような
黒い模様があるのが特徴的です。
ヤマガラ
ヤマガラは北海道、本州、四国、九州の山地に生息する留鳥。
食性は雑食性で昆虫類、節足動物、果実等を食べ
固い果実でもこじ開けて食べるそうです。
オオルリ
全長約16cmくらいで、雄の背中は尾も含め光沢のある青で
尾の基部には左右に白斑があります。日本へは夏鳥として
渡来・繁殖し、冬季は東南アジアで越冬する。
栃木県の県の鳥に指定されていて、高知県馬路村や
山梨県笛吹市などで市町村の鳥に指定されているそうです。
コルリ
全長14cmくらいでオスの背面は青、腹面は白い羽毛で覆われいます。
メスの背面は緑がかった褐色で、腹面は淡褐色の羽毛で覆われる。
キビタキ
全長14cmくらいで、雄は頭部から背面にかけて黒く
腹部は黄色。雌は褐色。 また、雄の若鳥も雌と良く似た褐色。
福島県の県鳥でもあります。
